We will be performing major maintenance at our Amsterdam datacenter to improve performance, expand capacity, and strengthen overall redundancy. This work is part of our continued investment in infrastructure stability and service quality.
What’s included:
- Upgrade of all core switches and installation of an extra switch in each rack for added redundancy
- Upgrade of all nodes to 2x10Gbit connectivity
- Installation of 2 new racks to expand capacity
- Activation of additional dark fiber links between our two Amsterdam sites for increased inter-site redundancy
- Relocation of nodes NL-H01 through NL-H10 to a newly installed rack
- Replacement of NICs for nodes NL-H11 through NL-H26 to support 2x10Gbit
- Deployment of 32 new blade servers
Expected impact:
The maintenance will take several hours. During this time, all servers in Amsterdam may lose network connectivity multiple times and will be restarted as part of the process. Please prepare for service interruptions throughout the maintenance window.
Thank you for your understanding as we carry out these important improvements.
